Quizlet Live can now be played with optional music and sound effects!
Any teacher on Quizlet can start a game of Quizlet Live.
First, choose a set for your students to review with at least six unique term and definition pairs. Then, select the Live button and choose a prompt and answer combination. Please note that only teachers with upgraded Quizlet Teacher accounts have the option to prompt students with terms and start games with diagram sets.
Select Create game and music will play automatically while your students enter the join code and choose usernames. To turn the music off, open the Options menu and select Off.
When all of your students have joined, select Create game to assign them to teams. Then, select Start game to begin.
Music will play while teams work together to pick the right answers, and sound effects will play at various points throughout the game. When a team wins, victory music will play until you exit the session or start a new game.
Can I control which song plays at a given time?
Not right now, but we may make this an option in the future!
What if I'd rather not play with music?
You can mute your computer at any point during a game, or turn the music off from the Options menu before starting a game.
