Generating a quote or invoice and paying by check

Are several teachers at your school using Quizlet? Want to get your whole department or class up and running with upgraded Quizlet accounts? We offer a 20% discount for group purchases of 2-49 upgrades and a 25% discount for purchases of 50 or more upgrades. 

If you're purchasing Quizlet Plus or Teacher upgrades for your group, there are two ways to pay: 
  • By credit card (for any number of upgrades)
  • By check (only  for purchases of 2 or more upgrades)
Depending on your school or district's requirements, you can choose to generate a quote or an invoice for the purchase you want them to make. You'll also have the option to download our completed W9 form and signed sole source letter if you need that documentation. If you don't need a quote or invoice and can pay by credit card, head on over to our Group Upgrades page to pay. 

Generating a quote or invoice for a credit card purchase

To generate a quote or invoice for a group upgrade purchase you're planning to make by credit card, go to the self-service quote and invoice page and complete the short form. Select either quote or invoice at the top of the page, and be sure to choose Credit card as the payment type so we can categorize your purchase correctly in our system.


Once you've completed the form, select Submit to generate your quote or invoice. You'll then see the option to download a PDF of your quote or invoice along with our W9 and sole source letter. To finish and pay, click the link to the Group Upgrades page to enter your payment information and check out. 

After submitting payment, the purchaser will receive two e-mails from us -- one with a receipt and a second with an upgrade activation link to share with the teachers in your group.

Submitting a request to pay by check

To generate a quote or invoice and submit a request to pay by check, go to the self-service quote and invoice page and complete our short form. Select either quote or invoice at the top of the page, and be sure to choose Check as the payment type so we can categorize your purchase correctly in our system.


Once you've completed the form, select Submit to generate your quote or invoice and submit your payment request.

You'll then see the option to download a PDF or your quote or invoice along with our W9 and sole source letter. Download or print a copy of your quote or invoice to include as a reference with your check payment. 

 

From there, have your school or district mail a check for your purchase to the address on your quote or invoice along with a printed copy of that quote or invoice. Once we receive your check, we'll input that payment to our system and you'll receive two e-mails from us -- one with a receipt and a second with an upgrade activation link to share with the teachers in your group. 

Activating your upgrades

To activate your upgrades, share your group upgrade activation link with your group. Each member of your group will need to click that link once when signed into their Quizlet account. Any group members who don't yet have accounts will be prompted to sign up, then get upgraded after logging in. Any group members who are using an activation link to renew will have one your added to their existing upgrade beyond their current expiration date. 

If your purchase was affiliated with a Quizlet account, you'll be able to see your link and the number of upgrades remaining on the Settings page of that account.
