Organize and share your sets by creating a class

Last Updated: Jul 17, 2017 04:46PM PDT

Quizlet users 13 or older can create a class to organize their sets and share them with friends and classmates.

Creating a class

To get started, sign into your account and click on the Join or create a class link.

Enter a title, then click on the Create this class button.

Add a description if you want, then choose a school. If you've created classes in the past, you'll see a list of recent schools to choose from. If not, click on Add another school, then type the name of your school and select it from the dropdown menu.

Don't see your school? Click Add another school and enter the name of your school.

Enter your school's info, then click on the Create class button.

Adding sets to your class

Now that you've created your class, it's time to add sets. To do that, click on the Add a set button on your class page.

You can then pick from sets you've created, sets in your folders, or sets you've studied by clicking on the Add link next to a set title. If you don't want to add any pre-made sets, you can start the process of making a new one from this page.

Inviting people to join

The last step in this process is to invite people to join your class so they can study the sets you add.

To invite users via email address, type their emails into the text box. If you're inviting more than one person at a time, separate the email addresses using commas. If you know your friends' or classmates' Quizlet usernames, you can add those instead. When you're done entering emails or usernames, click on the Send button and everyone in your group will receive an email invitation to join your class.

If you have a large number of people to invite, you can share the automatic join link we've generated for your class with your group instead. To view that link, click on the Use the automatic join link, then copy the link and paste it into a separate email to your group, or share it with them in person.
