Importing your contentOpen a document you already have saved to your computer, or create a new. Any program you regularly use, e.g. Microsoft Word, Google Docs or Sheets, Excel, etc., will work.
Then, make sure your terms and definitions are separated by a comma, tab, or other symbol. Check that your rows are clearly separated with a different symbol like a semicolon or a new line. Each row of your document will become a distinct card once you add it to Quizlet.
In the example spreadsheet below, the terms and definitions are separated by a comma, and each row is a new line.
Saving and publishing your setNow that your document is ready, go to the Quizlet website and log in to your account. Then, select Create.
Enter a title for your set and select languages for the terms and definitions. Then, select Import from Word, Excel, Google Docs, etc.
Open your document and select the text you want to add to Quizlet, then copy it. Go back to the Create Set page and paste that text into the Import text box. Be sure that all of your custom symbols get copied over!
This generates a preview of your set. Once you're happy with it, select Import to add your terms and definitions to the Create Set page. Then, select Create to save and publish your set.
Can I import images along with text?
Not currently, but that may be something we can add in the future!
